Cut, sent and accounted for.

How we cut, how it travels, and the answers to the questions our trade desk hears most.

01 · Cutting

Sawn to length, free of charge.

Every bar, tube and section is cut to the lengths on your order schedule, from a 10 mm slug up to a full 7,500 mm length. Sheet is guillotined to size. There is no cutting charge and no minimum quantity.

Long lengths and heavy loads

Lengths over 3 m, up to 7,500 mm, and heavy orders travel on a pallet service or dedicated vehicle. We quote the charge with your order acknowledgement, before anything is cut. Remote postcodes are quoted the same way.

There is no express service, but urgent orders can often be prioritised. Call the trade desk as soon as you place the order.

03 · Certificates

Mill certificates on request.

Certificates of conformity and material or mill certificates are available for most lines. They are not sent automatically, so add a note to your order or contact the trade desk before ordering and we will supply them with the material.

04 · Sourcing

Not on the list? Ask.

Beyond the lines on the stock list we source most other sections, including RSJs, tube clamps, mesh, cut blocks and lengths over 3 metres. We confirm the lead time, or offer an alternative, before you commit.

05 · Questions

What the trade desk hears most.

Is there a minimum order?

No. Order a single piece from 10 mm long, up to full lengths of 7,500 mm.

Do you charge for cutting?

No. Every line is cut to the lengths you specify at no extra cost.

How do volume rates work?

Orders over £1,000 receive 10% off and orders over £2,000 receive 20% off. The rate is applied to the order total on your schedule automatically.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You receive tracking details by email at dispatch. If an order has not arrived within five working days, contact the trade desk and we will chase it.

Can I cancel or change an order?

Lines cut to your lengths cannot be cancelled once cut. Full stock lengths can usually be amended or cancelled if the order has not been processed.

Who can open a trade account?

Limited companies, PLCs, partnerships, sole traders and public sector buyers. Apply online and our trade desk will set your terms.

What if a line is not in stock?

Lines marked on request are sourced to order. We confirm the lead time before you commit, and suggest an alternative if it will take too long.

Can I pay by card instead of on account?

Yes. Choose proforma when you apply and we confirm payment before cutting.

Do prices include VAT?

No. All prices on the site are trade prices excluding VAT, which is added at 20% on your order total.

Do you sell off-cuts?

When we have them. Ask the trade desk about short lengths and off-cuts in the size you need.
